How Long Does Burnt Mark On The Hand Of A Toddler Take To Heal?

My 3 year old son has got his hand burned by hot iron and his foreskin in that small patch is completely burnt. I showed it to regular doctor and they prescribed silverex iconic silver nitrate gel 0.2%. I am applying it twice but worried about how much time it will take to heal up and about the burn marks... Please suggest if I can get some medicine for my kid.

Hi and welcome HCM,
I can understand your concern. The good thing is that healing in children in very fast and scar tissue is also minimal. It should heal up in a weeks time depending on the size of the burnt area.
Please continue the present medication.
