Hello,

Chickenpox spreads very easily by touching chickenpox blisters or through the air when someone with chickenpox coughs or sneezes. The virus does not live long on surfaces.

Use a household cleaner such as Lysol or Pine-Sol to wash any items that are soiled with fluid from chickenpox blisters.

Since you are pregnant, you should avoid contact with such patients as it has serious adverse effects on fetus.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
