How Long Does Deep Cut In Muscle Take To Heal?

i cut throuth the muscle on the underside of my forearm closest to the elbow.missed everthing important excecpt my muscle and skin. the dr put stitches in my muscle (2 layers they said).the cut itself is only bout 2 1/2" x 2 1/2 ". my question is about how long does that muscle with that type of cut to heal. the wound clotted almost imediatly ,really didnt start to bleed till the dr's n nurses started to messs with it. thanks
