How Long Does Diarrhea Take To Get Cured After Taking Questran?

Hi I have diarrhoea for 9 weeks now went to my doc had a colonaspy a few weeks ago that was ok he put me on medication (Questran 4g) I m on 3 sachets a day since last Wednesday the 14th a small improvement how long will it take to be normal as it s hard to go anywhere have to make sure there is toilets near by thanks Ann

Hello, I understand your concerns.
Well, 9 weeks should be more than enough for treatment if this was caused by bacterial infection. However, in your case there may be parasitic infection, crohns disease or ulcerative colitis and you need to do colonoscopy and stool analysis to exclude this and then it should be treated with specific medications. Questran should not be used if there is no adequate response on this.
