How Long Does Fracture In Tibia And Fibula Take To Heal?

I fractured my tibia with fibula at the gym during kickboxing training almost 3 weeks ago. I had surgery and a rod was inserted in my leg. In your professional opinion will my leg ever heal to the point that I may return to kickboxing traing? And what is the average healing time for this time of injury?
