How Long Does Influenza Take To Get Cured?
How long does influenza last in a healthy male ( my husband ) ? He has had it for 1 day longer than 2 weeks. He still has Cement Head ( congestion ). He wants to be done. Should we still do Sudafed ? Melanie YYYY@YYYY PS it is NOT infected by secondary bacteria. There is NO green or yellow discharge. His body just keeps making phlegm that he has to hack up.

If there is congestion, Sudafed may be continued. Start steam inhalation. Add tab ibuprofen to his medicines .400 mg two times. Please note that influenza may take from 1 to 3 weeks.
Usually fever, cough etc should decrease day by day after 1 week. He needs complete rest beside multivitamin supplements.
