How Long Does It Normally Take For An Antibiotic To Start Working For Ear Infection?

I am currently taking duracef since Saturday for an ear infection. I thought I was beginning to feel better but today my ear is very painful and I feel like my glands under my jawbone are swollen. How long does it normally take for an antibiotic to start working? I am wondering if maybe this antibiotic isnt strong enough.

Hi,
Duracef is quite strong on infection and higher antibiotic.
It takes some time to work so wait for 2-3 days more to get its maximum effect.
If pus is formed then it should be drained and at this stage antibiotic may not give good result unless pus is drained.
Take some anti-inflammatory medicine as well.
Ok and take care.
