How Long Does It Take For A Varicose Vein Surgery Wound To Heal ?

after having varicos vein surgery , stiches were removed and all was fine , four days layer had swelling in lower thigh and was hard above the stitches, this then burst open leaving a large deep hole with fluid leaking from it , 8 weeks later i am stll having to go and have the wound packed and dressed , just wondering how long this usually takes to heal??

Thanks for query,
You might have thrombophlebitis and bursted open,
Nothing to worry,
Do daily dressing with proper cleaning with dettol water and do dressing with antibiotic cream.
Take anti biotic medicines.
