How Long Does It Take For Bruise To Heal And Should I Be Concerned About Blood Clots?
A few weeks ago the car door closed on my leg leaving a small lesion which has healed. I massaged the area because it hurt however I'm concerned that the lump which is about 2x2 inches has not dissolved yet. Minor bruising and pain. Hurts if you press on it. How long does it take for a bruise to heal and should I be concerned about a blood clot?

A bruise of size mentioned by you might take upto two weeks to resolve. The skin changes might take some more time. You can apply heparin ointment if there is clot under the skin. You should not be worried about any risk from blood clots. Please take anti inflammatory medication foe pain.

You should avoid massaging the area any further now.
In addition, take vitamin c supplementation . This will help in early resolution of the hematoma.
