How Long Does It Take For Methamphetamine To Clear From The System?

my sister hasnt smoked meth since dec. and went for a hair test last week and it is still showing up..... it has been 6 months... i was wondering if it made a difference that she was cooking it??? please help.......she has her kids taking away and the Dhr WORKERS DONT BELIEVE HER???
