How Long Does It Take To Get Pregnant While Suffering From PCOS?
Hi Doctor, I am 33 years old and i have 2 yrs daughter. i terminated one last year due to personal reasons. After that we have been trying from 9 months and still i have not conceived. Doctor said that i have pcos and has suggested to take siphene. What are the chances of me pregnant, how long does it take Thanks
Due to PCOS the doctor has suggested you siphene which is commonly used in treatment of PCOS as well as infertility. This helps in hormonal regulation and stimulates ovulation. Although the duration of the treatment is nearly 3 months but it is also dependent on your overall medical condition and your doctor is well aware of it so she will be asking you for follow up visits time to time.
Do the follow-ups and related tests as per her advice. Do not stop the medicine by yourself. Take it exactly as per your doctor's instructions. After the required duration, your doctor might run some diagnostic tests and then guide you further for better results.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
