How Long Does It Take To Get Rid Of The Cyst In Testicle?

Hello Doc. I am 30 years old, unmarried and 10 years back, I was diagnosed with a simple cyst in my right testicle above epididymis and my surgeon doctor did not advice any treatment. 6 months back I had severe constipation including right testical pain for which I consulted the same surgeon. He asked me to get my semen tested and the report showed around 90% of my semen was not motile. He gave me treatment in two parts. In the first part of his treatment, he gave me Pantodac DSR and PAN 20 for first 20days and next 10 days respectively to be taken after break fast. The second part of his treatment had Norflox 400Mg to be taken for 20 days collectively with COQ10 30mg for 2 months. The initial pain and discomfort which I had in my right testicle is gone, but still I am getting some pain (not continuous) in my right testicle. There is a lump in the upper part of my testicle which the doctor says that it is a normal displacement and there is nothing to worry about. My surgeon doctor also told me that I can take PAN 20 when I feel like. I feel the pain only when I don’t take PAN 20 during the day. Also my doctor has adviced me to wear tight underwears. I want to know your take on this and would like to know when I can become as normal as before. Now-a-day i am getting a twicthing sensation with some dull pain. Please help me.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i must assure you, that your surgeon has advised correctly.
Your right sided testicular( epididymal cyst ),is causing pain only occasionally.
In that case, you don't need to worry. It's not affecting the sperm count also.
Hope your constipation problem is over, with some laxative treatment.
The cyst is seen very clearly on a scrotal scan. Only if the pain is severe, or increasing in size, you should consider removal of the cyst, which is a minor surgery. If you've any doubts, you can get an expert opinion, by sending the scan report to me.
