General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you had laser surgery or cryopexy, you should be able to resume normal activities within days, but you should take care not to do anything too strenuous until your eye has healed.

If you had retinal reattachment surgery, you can expect to return to work and many other normal activities within two weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
