General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dengue fever usually recovers completely in 5 – 10 days if not complicated by dengue hemorrhagic fever. Your platelet count is not very low and it is under comfortable level. Platelet count of less than 50, 000/dL is serious. Shivering is because of fever and sweating occurs when fever comes down. It happens in all types of fever.
Advice
1.     Take paracetamol intravenously when fever occurs
2.     Continue other treatment as suggested by your doctor
3.     Take proper rest. Do not involve in strenuous activity for few days
4.     Drink 4 – 5 liters of water daily
5.     Take vegetables and fruit juice
6.     Use mosquito net/insect repellent cream to avoid reinfection
7.     You can take capsule Revital one capsule once daily for 1 month to boost immunity
8.     Investigation – monitor your platelet count daily
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question
Thanks
