How Long Does It Take To Recover From Salmonella Bacteria Infection?
Severe diarrhea that has now stopped. In Mexico. Had blood test, results S. TYPHOSA O 1:160. Doctor prescribed Oranor 400 mg every 12 hours for ten days. Is this a salmonella bacteria that will clear in a few days and is it safe to travel home to the US in five days?.

Typhoid fever or Salmonella infection is diagnosed by Widal test and is treated by fluoroquinolones.
Since, typhoid fever is diagnosed by Widal in your case and treated with appropriate antibiotics, the infection can be considered clear and you can travel home.
Howver, if you experience gastrointestinal tract infection, you can consult your primary healthcare provider.
