How Long Does It Take To Regulate SGPT And Bilirubin Level After Treatment?
My SGPT is 95. Direct and Indirect Bilirubin are 0.2 and 1.2 respectively. I am diabetic and taking one tab (metformin) every day. After detection of elavated SGPT, I am taking Hepamerz (3 tab daily) and ursomax 150 ( 2 tab) daily. How long it will take to bring the SGPT & bilirubin to normal levels ? I am regular morning walker. After detection of elaved SGPT, I stopped it for last 15 days. Can I do morning walking for 30 mins now? May please send your advice to my email address : YYYY@YYYY at the earliest.
SGPT is raised in the following conditions: Liver infection, Diabetics, CHF, Bile duct problems, Vitamin B deficiency, strenuous muscular activity (if you are exerting yourself during morning walking) and also alcohol intake.
For the above available information: 3 of the above could be attributed to your raised values- Vitamin B deficiency, strenuous muscular activity and diabetes.
Take vitamin b suppliment. Morning walk without stressing yourself.
Moreover, a single incidence of elevated enzyme is also not significant for worry. Please observe it regularly and in further increase and any new complaint, please consult physician.
