How Long Does Menstruation Take To Occur Postpartum?

Hi..., I am 31 years old n had a c section delivery and my baby is 4 months 22 days old. I had postpartum bleeding for almost 40 days. Now again my period started after 4 months 16 days of delivery. I breastfeed my baby along with giving formula supplement, as breast milk is not enough for him... wat is d reason for dis early periods.. will dis hav any adverse effect on my health. . Wat precautions should I take.plz help

Complete breast feeding is associated with the likelihood of no periods but if you need to use formula as well because breast milk is not enough, then the periods can come back.

It does not have any impact on your overall health, it only means that your periods may be returning to their normal cycle.
