How Long Does Metatarsal Fracture Take To Heal?
Hi i was given a moon boot after i was diagnosed with a 4th metatarsal fracture. 6 weeks on it still painful and hurting to walk in the boot that i have too hop around. Do you think its worth getting crutches or wait till i go to fracturw clinic this week?

I have gone through your query. It will take 6 to 8 weeks to heal the fracture if it is lying in proper alignment and reduction. If weight bearing is advised by your doctor then it is ok to walk with boots on. Other wise you should go on with crutches and have follow up after 1 week. Control X ray should be taken after 1 week to know whether in alignment or not.
