Hi. I am 39 years old, suffer from Acoustic Neuroma and hypertension. 30.01.15 I had a c-section, and have a healthy boy. Since the delivery I still got a pitting oedema in my both ankles. Also getting some pains in my chest on the left side. I am a nurse, and I am a worrier, but my doctor seems to ignoring my symptoms. I am on hypertension treatment. Getting to worry about my heart. Can pitting oedema lasts so long after pregnancy, or should I push my GP to send my for Ecg? Thank you.
Definitely ECG should be in whenever you have chest pain to rule out I H D , As u r already on antihypertensive treatment a Diuretic can be added to improve pitting oedema.
