How Long Does Pregnancy Take After Egg Rupture?
Hi, I am under pocs medication. This month I have taken a injection to make the folicule rupture. Follicle ruptured on day 17. My last period was 30th may. This month this week almost I should be getting period. But after egg ruptured ,I was advised by the doctor to be in a relationship with my husband for next 3 days.. that too every 12 hr once. Now everything over. Can u please tell me is there for me to get pregnant or after egg ruptured how many days it will take to get periods??

i can understand your concern.
the life span of a matured ovum is upto 48 hrs.
that is why you have been advised to be in a physical relation ship with your husband during those days after follicular rupture which indicates the release of the ovum.
if you have been in a physical relationship there is a good chance of you getting pregnant or else you should have got your periods by now.
since its already 7 weeks from yur last period i would suggest a blood test to be done to test for pregnancy or you can get a urine pregnancy kit and ceck for yourself.
do not get disheartened if you get negative result. it usually takes three to four cycles by this method to conceive.
