How Long Does Recovery Take From Burnt Skin On Thighs?

Hello sir...on 10th October 2016...my 5 year sister s thigh and leg(from inside) was badly burnt by silencer...first two layers of skin has burnt;and now theres a white smooth skin appearing....she was admitted for 5 days in hospital....how many days it will take to recover her wound? Is is possible to regain her skin as it was?

Hello,

I think she may need a month to get fully recovered as you describe a relatively deep wound. Also, she should take care to keep it clean in order not to get infected. I don't believe that she will get her skin as it was. Probably a scar will remain there.
