How Long Does Redness Caused Due To Diabetic Ulcer Take To Alleviate?

I have a diabetic ulcer.on ball.of left fokt....got cellulitis last week and ended up in hospital...was treated for 48 hours with iv vancomycin and iv zosyn....seemed to be getting better...was sent home on cipro and zyvox....top of foot is still red and painful......plantar wound still open but drainage is minimal and no longer purulent...how long will it take this redness to go away...also wound cultures grew out for strep gram negative....negative for mrsa.....mri showed mild osteomylitis

It get resolved by one or two weeks with proper treatment.

You have to make sure that there is no residual infection present.
