How Long Does The Mononessa Birth Control Pills Take To Be Effective?

I m 18 and starting Mononessa BC pills, and it s my first time ever to take it. Obviously it s Tuesday, so I took the Tuesday pill. Does this mean I missed the Sunday and Monday ones? Am I late already? And how long do they take to kick in if it s my first time on them? (Especially if I am late on taking them.) I went to a gynecologist and she didn t specify these things.

Hello
Dosing instruction may vary according to the brand. For 21 day pack;Start dose on 1st day of menstrual cycle , 1 tablet daily for 21 days followed by 7 pill free days .Start a new pack on the 8th day after the last tablet is taken.
For 28 days pack:Start dose on 1st day of menstrual cycle , 1 tabletdaily without interruption .
Dose should be taken at the same time every day.
In my opinion forget this pack .
Start a new pack as mentioned above.
