How Long Does The Menstrual Cycle Last Post Intake Of Primolut N?
I came off contreceptive in Aug 2015 haven t had my period since. My doc recommended primolut n 1 a day for 21days. (3 mths cycle) My period came on the last day of the tablet I have to start bk in 7 days will my period stop before that 7 days or would the tablet have to stop it??? How safe is this???
You should follow it. Regarding your periods, generally periods last for 3-5 days, sometimes less or more. Take it in7 days as per the advice. Repeat it this way for the said duration.
The tablet is prescribed to you considering all the adverse effects in the mind which are far less than its benefits, so do not worry it is safe. If you observe anything abnormal, make sure you see your doctor regarding it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
