How Long Does The Reduced Mobility In Arm Post Heart Stroke Take To Recover?

My mum is 76 and had a stroke 8 weeks ago . She has no movement in her left arm but has good mobility in her left leg now and walked today with some support from the physio . How long do you think rehab will take ? She also has some confusion but that seems to be improving slightly . Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
After a stroke if any brain area is damaged the recovery can be upto 80-90 %. But no one can predict results and outcome of physiotherapy. Regular physio sessions started to show positive results and within 6 months maximal recovery is achieved which is upto 60-90%.
