How Long Does The Ripped Nail Take To Grow?

My son was demoing an old house. When he went to remove a board (yank it) a finishing caught his middle nail and ripped it almost completely off. Doctor finished the job and took the nail completely. Wii a new nail grow, how long is it going to be super sensitive.?

Hi.
As per your query of nail growth, my treatment advice is -
1. It usually takes 3 months for finger nail to grow and 6 months for toe nail to grow.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream on that part to prevent infection.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain
