How Long Does The Stitches Take To Heal?

Had surgery got stitch between leg and groin went back to dr. He took out the stitches now it's been open for two weeks been washing it with antibacterial soap and after I shower.wash it out with hydrogen peroxide then pack the cut with Gaulz. What can I do to make it heal faster and am I treating it right?

As per your description, it is a case of infected wound and needs secondary closure or suturing after controlling infection; it is okay to handle the wound you are doing now but some more steps could be taken also: placentrex lotion/cream / fusidic acid cream / gentamycin cream and Vitamin C /Multivitamins along with oral antibiotics for 7/10 days and revert back to us! If still worried, take swabs from the wound for microbiological tests also!
