How Long Is Ceftas To Be Taken While Having Typhoid Fever?

hi i was detected with typhoid after 5 days of mild fever by typhidot was positive..have taken ceftas 400 twice daily for last 6 days no fever for last 4 days... how long can i continue with the medication.what test should i undergo to know if the infection is gone...

Dont continue the treatment.u are definitely cured as 3 day treatment is enough.dont eat outside food.unhygeinic condtions are mostly responsible for typhoid.avoid hotel foods.
To confirm u r eradicated of typhoid.get a blood and urine tests or even stool test will work
