How Long Medications Take To Start Treating Epilepsy?

hi doc. at the moment i have sickness and diahorrea but im also epileptic, i am on a 1500 mg dose of epilim a day, can you tell me how long it takes for the tablets to get into my system because im scared i might be vomiting the tablets up and the tablet not working properly
