Hi my dad has been in hospital for the last six weeks. He had bowel cancer two years ago which was removed. The chemotherapy and medication resulted him having liver psorosis. He now has encapolothophy in a very bad way. He has very few lucid moments and then does strange things like washing his hands whilst his eyes are shut. He is refusing medication, food and generally gets very aggressive. Please tell me how long he will suffer like this. Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.

Unfortunately this is very serious diagnosis and life expectancy is very short and can be counted in months. So no one can predict exactly but this is terminal stage of the disease.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
