How Long Post Recovery From Jaundice Can One Resume Working?
My son at the age of 31 years suffering from Jaundice since 1st Oct 2016 with Bilirubin of 5.8 .Now for about one month it is slowly reducing to 1.7 -1.5(1 weeks after ), 1.4 (1 weeks after ). I am anxious doctors says it is safe and he can start work .Seeks your advice.

Here is improving as per reports....
Usually he might have hepatitis A infection..
It is better to do viral marker HAV and HBV estimation by ELISA test so that further prognosis can be commented
If now he feel well than yes he can go to work
Care taken regarding not to eat outside fried foods
Fruit juices and esp sugar cane juice and apple juice beneficial
Fruits eaten more
Fried food very less...
Take care
Gradually his bilirubin will be still down below 1.2 after week
Do regular follow up until recover fully
Take care
Consult physician or gastroenterologist for examination
