How Long Post Recovery From Typhoid Can Alcohol Be Consumed?
I had suffered from typhoid fever one month ago. Now my health condition is getting better day by day. When I eat spicy and meat , nothing unwanted gastric problem,diarrhoea and other problems is not happening nowadays. So can I take alcohol? I want to know whether it is time or to wait for sometime for drinking. Please give some suggestions.

I have gone through your and being your physcian i completely understand your health concerns.
for how long u are suffering from it? any other associated problem? like diabetes or hyptertension? any history of intestinal TB in past ? are u having fever?
in my opinion , there is no as such absolute contraindication to alcohol consumption in post typhoid patients. it varies from patients to patients. you can consume it if you can tolerate it ,mean, without any adverse effects like stomach pain and diarrhoe..however,it is advisable to consume soft diet along with less spicy foods, as the lesion is in small intestine.
meanwhile stay calm and continue with your routine chores
