How Long Sexual Abstinence Is Required For Typhoid Fever?
Hi um Mrs.mubashir Just wana ask my husband had typhoid since 3 months ago that time doc said u had typhoid germs already but u didn t notice or cured any how my husband took all treatment session but now even passing 3 months he still has typhoid bacteria in his blood stream which is confirmed by test My question is .....is it safe to hv intercourse now

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Typhoid doesn't spread by sexual route and you can do sexual intercourse. But here your husband's typhoid is still positive as per history and by blood report. If you are talking about widal test then it can be positive by many reasons and don't rely on it.
If blood culture is still positive then resistant bacilli can be there and for that secondary drugs like azithromycin might be prescribed. Fluid intake can be more with fruit juices. Personal hygiene should be kept well If bacilli positive in feces than it is case of carrier. It is better for you to consult a gastroenterologist for examination and for further discussion about this with keeping all this in mind.
