How Long Should Bromocriptin To Reduce The Prolacting Level Be Taken ?

6 month ago i had a test and it was found that my prolacting level was 52.80, started taking bromocriptine, 1 month ago the level wa 25.34, then yesterday i checked again because pain, and spots still there, the result shows that the level increases up to 32.50, and still taking bromocriptin 2.5. what is it?

Read your prob, first you should rule out the cause of high prolectin leval , some of these reson are prgnancy ,breast feeding,mental stress or hypothyriodism, sexual disorder.
so u discuss it with your doc , rule out the cause n start proper treatment.

Bromocriptine only brings down the secretion of prolactin. You need to get yourself investigated for any pituitary tumors to know the cause of increased prolactin synthesis and take treatment accordingly.
