Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello doctor, My last period was on june. I dint get my period yet.. my doctor suggested with gynaset two times a day. But i hav taken ly 1 tablet a day. 6,7,8 have taken tablets. So its been 4 days i have stoppd taking. Please tel me cn i take another 3 tablets or i have to wait?
Gynaset is a progesteron based medication and is generally recommended to be used for 10 days a month for three months so that your periods may be regular. In your case, you have used little dose for small periods of time and you have already interrupted the treatment so it might be advisable to just wait for your periods to come. After 14 days of your periods you may start it again but use it in the dose the doctor recommended it for 10 days.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
