Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

The cream that you have mentioned here is a prescription product and should never be used for such a long period.
This cream contains a combination of ingredients like tretinoin, hydroquinone and a potent steroid, mometasone.
Prolonged use of this cream can lead to various side effects like acne, photosensitivity, skin thinning and facial hair growth (specially troublesome in females).
You should immediately discontinue this cream.
If I was the treating doctor would have asked you to use a skin lightening cream containing one or more of the following ingredients e.g kojic acid, azaleic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid etc. These are safer even if used for a longer duration. These are prescription products, therefore, I would suggest that you talk to your dermatologist for the needful.
You may also opt for a few sessions of chemical peeling from a dermatologist. Glycolic peel is specially useful for Facial Pigmentation.
Use a gentle cleanser for face wash and avoid soaps.
Protect your skin from sun and wear a broad spectrum sunscreen whenever moving out.

Regards
