How Long Should I Keep My Finger Wound Bandaged?

Hi, yesterday, i accidentally sliced a little piece of my index finger off. it is mostly skin that was cut, and it was clean. i currently have it bandaged and was wondering how long i should keep the current set of bandages on, and general care for the wound.
