How Long Should I Take Fluconazole For Toe Nail Fungus And Jock Itch?

Hi, I suffer from 2 ailments: 1. I have toe nail fungus for more than 20yrs, 2. I suffer from severe jock itch for which NOTHING I ve been prescribed before has worked. I ve recently been prescribed, Fluconazole 200mg, to aid these ailments. I did some research on this medication and found that on average people suggest that one needs to take them for about 6 months. The doctor who prescribed them is only willing to provide 2 months worth, which I take once a week. Please can you advise how long I should take this medication to rid myself of my ailments?

Hi,

You should go for antifungal medicine like Grisovin-FP in dosage and duration advised by a skin specialist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
