How Long Should I Wait Before Resuming A Normal Diet After A Rectal Bleed Caused By Plavix, Following Polyp Removal?

I take Plavix. I had my routine colonoscopy and had three polyps. non cancerous, removed. Six days later I developed a rectal bleed. My cardiologist told me to eliminate the blood thinner and aspirin for 7 days. The bleeding has stopped, how long before it usually would sufficiently heal to resume a noemal diet?
