How Long Should Letrozole Be Continued?

Is continuation of Letrozole necessary for a woman who is over 70 years old, has had right breast surgery. Thereafter photon radiation therapy for 15 days. It was all clear. Nyko test very low range 18. Bone density test o.k. No Her 2. Only issue was lobular cacinoma-Estrogen positive. Referred to hemotology oncology Dr. for safety to prevent possibility of cancer in other areas. Letrozole commenced last 28 days. No issues except hot flashes. How long should a woman of 75 yrs use Letrozole with the above situation?

* A minimum period of 2 years is always recommended by the majority of standard drug regimen councils.

* However, the rest of the details must be addressed to the treating oncologist and discussed thoroughly.
