How Long Should Primolut N Be Taken For Delayed Periods?

Hi, I am 27 years old and married. My periods were regular and on exact date every month. But last month I had a very light period, for 3 days only. This month I didn t get my periods and when it got delayed for 1 week, I consulted a Gync. She said I have ovarian cyst and prescribed me Primolut-nor tablets. I took it for 2 days now, and got a very light period, 2 or 3 drops. She prescribed for 5 days. Shall I continue to take it for 5 days and wait for normal periods?

Hi, I think you should do a urine pregnancy test at home to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, you can continue taking primolut N for 5 days. After stopping the tablet, you will get your periods in 7 to 10 days.
