How Long Should One Take Crestor For Severe Pain In The Lower Back And Knees?

I have been on 5 mg of Crestor for 9 months, and have been experiencing pain in my lower back and knees similar to arthritis. The doctor has sent me for blood test to see if it was harming my kidneys and it wasn t and he thought it was caused by some exercises I was doing and advised not to do them and see if it improves and to have therapeutic massage therapy. It felt good at the time but I felt beat up the next day and didn t go back. Last night I did not take any crestor and felt so much better this morning. I did not have to roll off the bed to get up and it was much easier on my knees walking down the stairs. For the first time in a month I wanted to go to exercise class. I feel a lot better and my hips do not ache. I will stay off the drug for a week and then see what my doctor advises. I think it is the Crestor, do you?????
