How Long Should Smoking Marijuana Be Avoided Post A Tonsillectomy?

Hi, I had my tonsils taken out on June 20th and was cleared to go back to my normal activities on June 29th. I heard from a friend doctor that I should wait for a solid month before I can smoke hookah though, so just wanted to know if that s true especially since I ll be travelling soon and it s been 21 days. Can I smoke now?

Hello. 21 days is long enough for the adverse action on tissue healing with marijuana use to have dissipated. So long as you're doing fine without any bleeding, no problem here.
