General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.

To be more effective Plan-B should be taken as early as possible within 72 hours following an unprotected sex like ripped condom in your case.

The most common side effects of Plan-B include feeling sick or tired for a short time after taking this medicine. Soreness in the breasts, headaches, lower abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting or dizziness are the other side effects.
These symptoms should get better within a few days. If the symptoms do not go away or get worse, you should consult your doctor.

Hope this answers your query.
