I had gastric bypass 8 yrs. ago,recently i went to the Dr. For my monthly visit,i had not taken a pee test in the 8 yrs. That i had been going to this Dr.,when i went back the next month they told me i had no meds. In my pee test. I had taken 2 lorcets and my other prescribed meds the day before i went to the Dr.,i had not taken anything the morning that i went.i was told that the lorcets should have been in my system for up to a week. I just don t understand. Could you help me?

By working on the above the half life of lorcet is bout four hours so it would take about 4 to 5 days to be totally eliminated from your body system. However, it is important to note that everyone metabolizes medications differently, so the half-life will vary from person to person.
