How Long Will Lorcet Tablet Remain In The System?
I had gastric bypass 8 yrs. ago,recently i went to the Dr. For my monthly visit,i had not taken a pee test in the 8 yrs. That i had been going to this Dr.,when i went back the next month they told me i had no meds. In my pee test. I had taken 2 lorcets and my other prescribed meds the day before i went to the Dr.,i had not taken anything the morning that i went.i was told that the lorcets should have been in my system for up to a week. I just don t understand. Could you help me?

It may remain up to a week in the system.
The elimination of a drug from the body system depends upon its half-life which is actually the amount of time the drug takes for half of the dose of its to be eliminated from the body.A given drug will take about five or six half-lives, to be totally eliminated from your system.
By working on the above the half life of lorcet is bout four hours so it would take about 4 to 5 days to be totally eliminated from your body system. However, it is important to note that everyone metabolizes medications differently, so the half-life will vary from person to person.
