How Long Will It Take To Cure Chlamydia And Gonorrhea As The Symptoms Of Disc Harge And Burning While Urinating Had Not Stopped?

I noticed a discharge from my penis on Tuesday as well as burning and painful urinating. I went to a clinic Thursday and was given a shot and 2 pills to treat Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, but the symptoms besides the discharge has not stopped. How long will it take for this to stop? My penis also leaks after urinating and is painful at all times and my lymph node in my groin is swollen as well only on my left side

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these infections. Normally you should start feeling better a coupe of days after commencing treatment and so progressively till symptoms completely resolve. Chamydia is not treated with 2pills only. Please follow up and make sure if this treatment is as intended and appropriate.

Please, always consider protection during intercourse. I can tell you would not want to deal with this same scenario in future.
