How Long Will It Take To Recover From Flu?
Have flue symtoms. Have run fever since Wednesday night - average 101 to 102. Fever generally is gone in the morning, but is back up every night. How long will it take to run its course? Have been having to get up to change my clothes due to the excessive sweating.

Most of the flu are of viral origin and these viral flu are self limiting diseases and it will reduce by itself in 5-7 days.
But problem with the viral flu is it reduces the immunity of the patients and make the patient prone for secondary bacterial infections.
Sweating is a protective mechanism suggesting that body if trying to bring the body temp to normal during infection.
If it is associated with bacterial infection you may require broad spectrum antibiotics to control the symptoms.
