How Long Will It Take To Restore Potassium Levels With Supplements?

My potassium at the ER was 3.1..they gave me orange fizzy drink of potassium..also I am now on 20MEQ's of Klora con daily..its been 5 days since my ER visit and my heart is still irregular at times..How long does it take for potassium levels to come back to normal range?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hypokalemia. Its very dangerous. You should take potassium supplements. Duration of treatment depends on many factors like your metabolic status, excretion etc. You should measures your potassium level regularly. Because high or lo potassium both are dangerous.
