How Long Will Marijuana Remain In System?

I have been a regular gram to 2gram a day weed (marijuana)smoker for years (great for my ptsd aymptoms) I recently celebrated my 34th bday and smoked about 7grams throughtout tha day... I found out I will have to take a swab test soon and wonder how long it will take to clear from my saliva if I was to quit, I need serious factual information cause I have seen many different answers to this ranging from 2 days to 3 weeks,,, please inform, and tyvm! =D

with single dose 5-10 days. with chronic, daily, heavy use, most of a month.
(can get the journal references for this) but this was just reviewed at the am society of addiction medicine meeting (which is currently goiing over solvent inhalents and I'm bored).
