General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Normally the bleeding will continue lightly for one to three weeks after the abortion, but times may vary. The normal menstrual period usually returns after four to six weeks. The heaviest bleeding typically occurs 2-5 hours after using the Mifty kit and usually slows down within 24 hours.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
